In the end… it’s safe to say we all look at Jimmy this way. It’s a beautiful view 🤷🏻♀️

Today is not the best day…
Tom Petty has suffered a massive heart attack. Prayers, love, and peace need to be sent his way and to his family.
Sources update that he has no brain activity and has been taken off of life support.
Classic rock does not need to lose another and this deeply saddens me.
Music is at it’s all time low in the losses of many.
The saddest and most horrific shootings in American history has taken place in Nevada during a country music festival where over 33,000 have attended.
Over 50 have been confirmed deceased and over 400 have been injured.
A 64 year old man with the excess of 10 different rifles situated himself in the Mandalay Bay hotel and began to fire from the 32nd floor at festival goers.
This story saddens me deeply, not only had it killed innocent people but out of all places… a music festival. Music should bring us together and not be taken from us with violence. This heinous act has become the largest mass shooting in American history and it rips my heart to shreds knowing that no matter where you go or what you love to do most, listening to live music, it isn’t safe.
I ask all of my followers, American or not, to pray for the victims, friends and families of victims, Nevada, and every first responder that took action to last nights tragedy.
I know that I have been MIA from this blog and I know jumping back into it with this is not ideal… but those of us who love and live to see and experience live music, we should offer our hand(s) in prayer and peace to those who have that taken from them.
Much love and peace to you all, I will be back shortly.
@silveraspensart / @silveraspens and I just found a newer band that sounds ALMOST EXACTLY like Led Zep!!! GRETA VAN FLEET! How we didn’t know them before, I have no idea. But Seriously! We are both metaphorically shitting our pants as I’m typing this, because they sound like a millennial version of baby Zeppelin!!!! They’re so big for a band that only has four hecking songs out!! Morgan, the dingus encouraged me to tag a few of you Zeppelin fan blogs (sorry if that’s annoying 😭) though the discussion is obviously open to everyone. But yeah, she and I wanna spread “spread the word” so: we wanna know your thoughts, friends. What do you think of Greta Van Fleet?.
Thank you so much for tagging me! Oh my fucking golden god and dark lord!!! The influence of Zeppelin that’s transcending through their music is like no other. Sure they are more modern and could be influenced by many other classic rock bands. I’m having the feels for this group, and it’s great to check them out and vibe to them.
🤘🏻😭 so worth the listen.
In case anyone missed the last one, this is an account from the mother of @my70srollingfloyd, who had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with our boys in the early 70s. Thank you so, so much for sharing! <333
And now we have part 2 which includes the ever so gracious Jimmy Page and comparisons/summaries between the lovely men. Once again I simply allow her to talk to her hearts content, all I do is press record and type it down. Enjoy!
“Well I am going to be very open about me, the people along with everything I experienced but you are old enough to know about it all and I definitely believe that this band, those four whole-hearted men still have an impeccable influence on so many fans, both boys and girls so I am more than happy to share.
Jimmy to me had always been an intriguing person, because there were just so parts of him. Some good, some bad and some pure.
